Tara is a full time custom artist currently tattooing out of Pleasure in Pain Taunton. Tara's love for the arts began at a young age, and she had a knack for anything creative. She stuck to the art thing, and pursued it throughout school. After graduating high school, Tara went on to attend college at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Illustration. Going through the illustration program at U-Mass provided her with a wealth of knowledge on many different art forms, and how to apply them.
Tara eventually began a tattoo apprenticeship in 2013 under the tutelage of Jeff Burt, owner of Pleasure in Pain. She was an apprentice of Jeff's for a little over a year, before he had decided she was ready to begin her voyage as a tattoo artist. Tara has since been tattooing on her own since August of 2014. Tara will tackle any challenge thrown her way in the form tattoos. She tends to have the most fun tattooing imagery that is very illustrative, feminine, neotraditional, and playful.
Work does not end when the shop closes. Tara also takes requests for custom illustrations from clients. She can work with almost any medium, but enjoys acrylic, watercolor, charcoal, marker, and graphite most.
In her free time, Tara enjoys spending time with her family, catching some vitamin D, crocheting, and being a crazy plant lady.
